Go Brewing

I used to love beer. I liked hoppy, darker beer. Pre-celiac I would drink Rogue and Sierra Nevada and Guiness and Negro Modela to name a few. But, that all changed after I was diagnosed.

I tried New Planet and Redbridge but the taste was not to my liking.

Then I found Ground Breaker a.k.a Harvester and loved their No. 5 IPA. They are located in Portland. I found Ghost Fish from Seattle and loved their IPA's too. Glutenberg from Canada was around but I believe they closed. Then Holidaly from Golden, CO popped up and they have some really nice beers.

As I got older, alcohol just didn't agree with me so I stopped drinking.

But, I missed the taste of beer. At times I missed the ritual, like cracking open one during a hockey game or after a long hike.

The non-alcoholic beer market has exploded but I couldn't find any GF NA beers. I even reached out to a few places and was told that they got the request from others but it was not on the agenda for the near future.

Enter Go Brewing

I don't know how I found them but they have a ton of non-alcoholic beers.

Freedom Hazy IPA made with millet, buckwheat and oats. They get them from Grouse Malt House "who specializes in GF ingredients."

They also have Freedom West Coast Pale Ale

And Freedom Amber Ale

Although I am pretty cautious (I don't drink gluten-reduced beers for fear of contamination) I decided to give them a try.

They all taste great but my favorite is the Hazy. I've gone through two six packs and no symptoms.

On their site they mention how they go the extra mile. Since many of their beers are made with barley they do a deep clean on their equipment before brewing the GF beers. The source GF ingredients and they add Clarex which is the enzyme many brewers use to make their 'gluten-reduced' beers.

You can order a mixed pack of all 3 GF NA beers here: https://amzn.to/40J3k7k

Cheers!
