Wild Alaskan Company

I like fish but I avoid farm raised fish. During Covid I found the Wild Alaskan Company.

They are a small family run business that offers subscriptions for wild Alaskan caught fish delivered right to your door. Each is an individual size portion, frozen and vacuum sealed.

We have had coho salmon, sockeye salmon, halibut, rockfish, black cod, and sablefish.

Each one is so fresh and so delicious. I sent a box to my mom and she said it was the best fish she had ever eaten.

Throughout the year there are seasonal specials. We have ordered shrimp, scallops, and crab.

They now offer pre-marinaded fish too. You can get Sockeye Salmon with a Teriyaki GF glaze, miso marinade sablefish, and halibut with herb butter and lemon. I have not yet tried these but I'm thinking of adding them to my next box.

You get an email when the box is shipped. They use weather technology to determine how much dry ice to pack in the compostable insulated box. Even in the heat of the summer the dry ice is always still solid along with the fish.

I like to cook and make a number of different dishes but if you need a recipe they have tons.

If you want to place an order you can use this code for $50 off your first order - https://wldaskn.com/w/NAJbml

Let me know what you think.
